Riverfront Dining With Sunset Views

"The outdoor dining patio has an insanely beautiful view of the Connecticut River. The view surpassed some of the best Oceanside restaurants we’ve been to. I think the sunset hour made it special with the perfect warm light and orange skies. Indoor seating also has views from pretty much all directions, and the seating farther inside is on a raised platform affording the same views. Still, the outdoor vibe beats the indoor… They explicitly state on the reservation that outdoors seating is first come first serve. Son highly recommend a reservation and go about 20-30 min early. Food was a mixed experience. Some dishes were great others not so much. Dessert was okay. Service was slow but servers were somewhat attentive."

"Celebrated a birthday here and had a lovely experience. The restaurant itself is so pretty and overlooks the river which gave us great views throughout the meal. The food was amazing, with decent sized portions. For appetizers we got the tempura broccoli, the goat cheese fritters, and the whipped ricotta. The goat cheese fritters were the best and perfectly creamy and fried. For dinner the ragu was yummy and the picaña steak was perfectly done and so tender and flavorful. Our server was attentive, though accidentally gave us the happy hour menu and then had to come back to tell us happy hour was only at the bar so we changed our drink orders. Other than that, we had a great experience and delicious drinks and food. Oh and if you order desert, the giant cinnamon roll was truly giant!"

"The atmosphere here is beautiful, with both indoor and outdoor seating that really adds to the overall experience. My husband ordered the steak, and although I’m usually not a fan, I gave it a try—and we both agreed it was absolutely delicious. I had the pasta, which was a bit spicier than I prefer, but it was so good I still finished every bite. The only downside for me was the drink menu. The drinks didn’t quite match the quality of the food and atmosphere, but I’m hopeful that’s something they’ll improve over time. Overall, I would definitely return for the food and ambiance alone."

"Nice upper scale restaurant. Our server was waitress/ bartender I don't recall her name. Friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. We chose the restaurant because of the riverview. This restaurant is a located in an office building (xerox) on the ground floor in the rear. Entry is made through the front of the building where there is a large parking lot. We were there on a Sunday evening and there was plenty of parking. Even though there are signs for the restaurant I wouldn't call them "intuitive" to helping locate. One of the big difficulties we had was actually Google Maps. They were more confused then we were. First directing us to a nearby refinery. The view is very pleasant. Large dining area over looking the Connecticut River. Even though you are close the freeway that traffic sound is not evident. Treed banks, no other buildings, just a road bridge over the river. Plenty of outdoor heaters if it gets cold. The food was excellent, good wine list. The menu is not extensive, but basic restaurant food for this area. Steaks, some pasta, and seafood. I had the Spicy Rigatoni. It was very good. The slice unfortunately appeared to be just cracked red pepper. I appreciate some got spice in some dishes. The slice is to add a layer of flavor not overpower the more subtle spices in the dish. Unfortunately, IMHO the dish was overpowered by the red peppers."
